What is a Hair Transplant Surgery?

Hair Transplant is a procedure in which healthy hair (Follicular Units) that are resistant to balding are extracted from the back of the head or scalp, also called as the Donor Area or the Bald resistant Area, and are then implanted in the Bald area of the scalp.  These implanted hair will over the subsequent 6-9 months turn into normally growing hair, thus treating the baldness.
